Osk!

Usually when I start writing a post I would put the title first and flow on from there… However this post is different. I’m staring at a blank title box as I’m typing this up meaning that I have no spark of inspiration to continue on from… I wonder what would happen if you were to publish it without a title.

I suppose that means a title often imposes an imaginary glass ceiling on my writings… NOT TODAY! Ready yourself as I beset you with an unstoppable torrent of text, text and more text. As much as I want to alleviate your eyes from the mundane black and white by posting pictures… I REALLY find it to tedious to do that. Why?

Because I just formatted my computer (1 week ago) so that means, all my pictures are on the externall HDD, and I don’t really want to access it otherwise I’ll just waste time browsing through everything. I quite enjoy my computer running so smoothly with nothing on it. Starts up real quickly, everything is nice and fast… Almost like it’s brand new UNTIL last night when my sister tripped on the power cable and the laptop dropped and now I have a Laptop with 1/3rd of its LCD screen damaged. So now I’ve connected the laptop to a monitor and working off that This makes the entire principle of the portability of a laptop nonexistent thus rendering it to serve as a desktop I saw great things with this laptop, potentially was going to use it as a live music creator when I start figuring out how to use the relevant programs which is also handily sitting on my external HDD which I can’t be stuff going through and a midi-to-usb box which I bought quite a few months ago and of which I also have not used as well…

However a few options arise, I could relegate the role of this laptop to a desktop forever and ever and save up for a brand spanking new laptop (read macbook pro or some alienware beast, which I would certainly welcome (if I have the moolah)) (whoa lotsa brackets, I guess it shows how far into sentences I look into things (certainly better than asterixes (Thad…) ( I hope that is the correct spelling))… (Okay enough of that rubbish)… Or I could buy a LCD screen to replace it which would also cost a bit of which I don’t have… But it be fun tinkering around and replacing it to show that I have modding potential

On other side of things… I had a haircut, a week and a bit ago, and once again NO PICTURES ahhaha.

Day after I got my haircut, my house played host to a huge surprise dinner party for Hocks and Dave Twas fun, never could have imagined my house being able to cook for so many people and to have everyone full before the main course started… amazing… some good food came out of that night and the many leftovers that were to follow as well.

Speaking of leftovers, Vancy hosted a steamboat for old school ASIA committee a few nights ago… Pity I wasn’t there when people were eating cause I was tied up with another dinner, nonetheless I introduced her to Emma’s seafood and the amazing variety of yong tau fu and meatballs that they stock. Since I wasn’t there to eat, she gave me a whole heap of them to bring home of which my mum cooked most of it yesterday That was a good night though, getting to share life with people outside of church are momments I often cherish, especially with my heavy involvement with church…

This entire week alone, I’ll be out every night mainly because of church, I won’t go into details other than to shamlessly advertise for our church’s pasar malam night…

So after all that I post a picture, albeit in black and white. So if anyone out there wants to donate goods contact me anyhow you know how to… there is of course the empty comment box below, also most of you would know my phone number (I think )

update: It works! But it’s quite stupid because it has no link to it…. so I’ll think up something now…

update2: the title is this because I want to try that macdonalds burger and win some prizes ;D

ITK

I TON’T KNO!

I really don’t… so much has happened since the last post, and me not being a person who likes to journal certainly doesn’t help at all. Thus I don’t really know how the rest of this post will flow, because usually all my post come from a spark of inspiration which I usually dwell on for a few hours before writing down, certainly not this one, I’m writing this straight after hanging out with what I would suppose be my ex-cell members and am tired and want to sleep, but something is nagging me to write so I’ll write!

So first of all, ITK because I’m trying out this program called windows live writer to blog, see if an offline client might be more fun to use comparatively to the online version, so far no problems except for my computer dying out and in a serious need of a reformat… something I was planning to do straight after exams finished… but like a lot of other things that I planned to do this holidays I have not even started on it yet. It’s ludicrous! I played more video games during exam time than holidays!

This 4 week uni break is really short lived, I’m dumbfounded by the fact that in about 5-6 days I’ll be back at uni. I hope I get my class preferences, quite like it. I’ve already decided I’m not going to go to any lectures, and that I will listen to all my lectures within a day of it going online… Hooray for Lectopia (aka iLectures). So I just need to go to 1 lab a week on a monday 11am which will alternate between 3 of my psych units, and a seminar at 2pm monday, and the relevant tute at friday 9am for this research unit, which should be about Job stress I think. Should be interesting, since occupational pscyh seems to be the most interesting of all pscyh and would be where I would like to work if I do become a psychologist. So this leaves me with tuesday, wednesday and thursday to study and work, which I really need to do since I’m so low on cash, which is because I hardly work now to feed my lavish lifestyle, and it also does not help one bit that I’m not enjoying myself at work so much anymore.

Speaking of work, today I was ready to kill someone, talk about job stress man! Usually I would describe myself as calm, cool, collected nothing can faze me. Let’s just say there are many reasons why people are stupid, and it is not to make us intelligent people laugh…

This is getting really long, but I don’t care, it will make up for the past 2 weeks.

Let’s just say Fyre camp 07 was awesome, maybe I’ll do a separate post for it, cause I don’t have pictures yet and my sister says my blog is really really dull without pictures, but that is what my Flickr is for, of which I actually have not loaded any pictures in since feb of this year haha

So much has happened since feb…. it’s nearly a half year since then, and now I’m moving on to so much. Thanks God… As I allured to in the beginning of this post that I now have ex-cell members, that’s cause I’ll be moving to Tan’s cell, of which is predominantly what is commonly known as FOBS, don’t take offense I look forward to joining Tan’s cell actually. To sit under Tan’s insight will be a privelege, and I’ll probably be able to practice my cantonese more there

Nonetheless, I’m savouring these last opportunities with hanging out with daniel bey’s cell, such as ice skating about 6 hours ago…. wasn’t going to go, but I know i’ll miss you guys, and I get to play chris’ bush games on friday should be fun

I better get my hair cut by friday, I can’t stand it anymore, the really dero side of me wants to grow it long and get dreadies WHAT and waste all that nice straight shiny hair that Jeremy has!? Amy like’s my fringe, the condition of my hair makes girls jealous.

Oh I know now….

Tuesday

Okay, Tuesday deserves a separate post. Tuesdays are probably one of my favourite days of the week, and yesterday merely highlighted that further.

A group of us Fyre leaders drove down to the camp site where we will be having our “Cornerstone” camp to check out the place. A little aside here, we havn’t had a camp in 5 years! Which is the number of years high school student spends in high school haha, can’t quite convey what I want here but oh well…

Anyway we drove down, took about an hour, got to the place, twas nice and huge, though can’t really say that about the hall, but God will work in His mysterious ways Got my jeans and shoes dirty trying to crawl accross some log over a river that just resembled a giant shallow puddle…. wish I thought ahead when I woke up in the morning to wear more scragly clothes.

Oh speaking of the morning, I woke up in the morning to a phone call that brought good news. However I’m not at liberty to share it here. But it was goood and It just goes to show God comfirming my prayers and direction

So anyways after scouting the campsite out, we left and then went to sizzlers for lunch. Funny seeing Kristy going apes over the Salad bar! And the highlight of it will have to be this little dialogue between clement and myself… you really need to hear this eheheh

Context: We were talking about veggie patties and it’s fibrous contents….

Clement: Was a bit hard to lure the fudge dragon out of it’s cave this morning…

Jeremy: I’ll send my colonic knight in to slay the fudge dragon!

For those who don’t understand, it’s alrite it was funny and well it’ s funny

After that chilling at my house for my xbox 360 loving followed by prayer meet for camp. After prayer meet we all went to see transformers at Carosel. Only problem is that IT WAS ALL FULL so after much heated discussion we all decided to rush off to the ghetto southlands to watch it. (it’s ghetto cause I grew up there, and I assoicate it with being low class oh well hahaa)

But TRANSFORMERS WAS INSANELY AWEOME, thoroughly enjoyed it, for some of it’s cheese factors, amazing action sequence, great lines etc etc etc. I can only spout out all these one, two words adjectives to describe transformers, for a better review then I could visit Brian’s blog here.

So ends my review of tuesday! Till next time…

This week +

Like I said, I really should just sit down and start typing what has happened in this past week before I leave it hanging for too long and I won’t be bothered to post everything that has happened in between. So here we go the week as best as I can remember

It’s a week and a day since Restoration+ Agape camp. I came in with high expectations for God to move something deep within me and the ministry, and those expectations to say the least were exceeded is an understatement. God comfirmed a few things in my life that I’ve been asking for, saying no to somethings and giving me a greater clarity in the direction He is leading me. Not only that, being at Agape camp allowed me to bond with the Agapeans a bit more, strengthening relationsh, and establishing new ones. These guys are oodles of fun, I cherish all the momments I get to hang out with them, especially my cell group since I’m so involved with Fyre every friday night that these opportunities are rare (For the uninformed, Agape is the church’s university student ministry, and Fyre is the high school ministry).

I won’t say sorry for not using Twitter to post about camp, primarily due to there only being one friend on my twitter, that being Brian ( miss you heaps ), so join up in twitter and have some fun hahAHAH!

Since Agape camp overlapped with ASIA camp, (ASIA being the university club I’m affliated too and the source of all my great (and only ) uni friends I didn’t get a chance to go down to busselton with them like I did last year. But nonetheless on their way back they stopped off at Mandurah, so I drove down to meet them there and it’s great to also hang out with them. Once again, my overall involvement at church prevents me to chill with them as often as I like leading to huge period of gaps between meetings ehehehe

Guess those were the highlights of the past week with lotsa 360 gaming in between. Don’t think I’ll ever get bored of my 360

Oh and Monday I broke the leg of our sofa acting a scene for Adriel… Kinda funny and kinda not at the same time.. And to make matters worse, lost to Thad at fight night garh… played indoor soccer then went to Russell Sage’s world school thing. My gosh, that guy’s annointing is powerful! Going to be an amazing 10 week course!

Okay will post about tuesday (yesterday) in a separate post since it was highly eventful too!

p/s I think my style of writing in my blog has slowly slowly been changing since the first post…. probably because I just can’t be bothered ahhaa
